If you have ever tried to lose weight, you know how hard it can be. There are endless “fad” diets, “miracle” pills, and all sorts of amazing and expensive exercise gadgets all offered for sale with promises of huge weight loss seemingly overnight.

Intrigued by this prospect, I decided to give his book a read.

Tom’s book differs from a lot of ebooks in two ways - it’s 340 pages long, which is 3-5 times longer than most ebooks, and it has no fancy graphics or filler. Just lots and lots of information about the process of gaining and losing weight, why most methods don’t work, and what you can do that will work.

The affordably priced book is written so that anyone can understand it. While there is some basic math involved in finding out exactly what you should be eating and when, it’s nothing complicated. Instead, you get 17 chapters that include:

  • How to set realistic goals
  • Why 95% of all diets fail
  • How to determine your muscle/fat ratio
  • Charting your progress
  • Secrets of meal frequency and timing
  • The ideal combination of protein, carbohydrates and fats in your diet
  • Clearing up confusion regarding protein and carbs
  • Why water is essential and what you should and should not drink
  • How to design your own effective menus
  • Why diet isn’t enough

Tom’s book is straightforward, logically presented and easy to understand. It explains how your body works, why your diets haven’t been working and how you can make some simple but effective changes to lose the right kind of weight.

All in all, this is one of the best and most comprehensive books I’ve ever seen on the subject of weight loss. If you read through it and put the methods to use, you can lose as much as you need to and keep it off forever.

This book is a highly recommended buy.
